20 miles located at the Eastern part of St. George on State Route 9 is Hurricane. This is the road to the famous Zion National Park as well as other tourist spot areas. It is populated by about 12,000 people. A country style community, Hurricane offers various recreational opportunities when you arrive at Quail Creek, Fairgrounds, Washington County Equestrian Park and Sand Hollow Reservoir. Washington City

Known as the second biggest city located in the Washington County, Washington City has a population of more than 21,000 and it is located at the eastern part of St. George.
